Beautiful Soup

I object to the mass exodus of people around this time of year. I know I can't make other students stay, but I would if I could. You gits. Come back here.

Working on a story that began in my head as a sci-fi, morphed into a fantasy tale, and has now become something resting on the line between the two. A lot of world-building made necessary, and I wonder if it's too big a project, really, but I figure I can work on it in the background quietly and not put too much pressure on it to be finished any time soon.

I'm pondering the idea of an extended piece of writing, possibly as much as novel length. The question is; which idea to pick? And what happens if I don't finish?

I feel like I'm not reading enough. =( I'm gonna think about making a start on some stuff for next semester. Not actually read it, you understand, just think about it. XD

Apart from that I've got a whole 'to read' list, but it's ironic considering I haven't read a lot of the books I own. Should really get around to a "I have, so I should read" list.

I think I have a userpic addiction.

the_inkwell has reached a grand total of three members. This is a happy day. XD

And maybe I'll do some writing. Or maybe I'll just go flounce.

Sat down to write, but instead have been struggling with CSS and HTML hopelessly for nearly an hour. But at least I'm not working in blue-and-white Generator any more. =D
